We have drop-in workshops and more formal classes. We do ask for the materials fee donation of $15 for both classes and workshops to support the shop. Additional materials may be required, depending on the class. See details in class descriptions. The $15 class fee is due to the instructor on site (checks preferred--made out the "VFH").

Contact kmcfadden@virginia.edu to be added to a class list, specifying the class and date in the text of your email. Please send email by Thursday 5PM before the class date. In the case of limited class space, those registering in advance will be given preference over drop-ins.

Pamphlet Stitching
Demonstrating the basic pamphlet stitch with needle and waxed thread, applying what we learn on the Comic Poetry chapbooks. Ambitious stitchers can earn a chapbook to take home with them.
Materials: provided; or bring a project of your own to stitch.
