We will sew a book of blank pages and bind in cloth over boards. No previous experience necessary. (A linked course with Feb 15 Bookbinding Workshop: Intro to Casebinding.)

Intermediate Letterpress: Broadside Class 1-5PM
(two-Saturday course)
A project-oriented class for beginners or those already with some letterpress experience. Participants will create a two-color poetry broadside of an Elton Glaser poem in conjunction with the poet’s April reading at the University of Virginia. We will focus on the skills necessary to compose and print a handsomely typeset page in lead type. Participants will receive two broadsides and be credited on the piece as collaborative printers.
